Seduced!

Yesterday, I watched a wonderful little movie called "La Grande Séduction" by Jean François Pouliot. In English it is called "Seducing Dr. Lewis".

This movie is very charming, funny, whimsical and at times, poignant. It is about a very tiny fishing village in Quebec that no longer can survive on fishing and want a multi-national factory to set up in their town; only problem is, the company demands that the town have a doctor. The story is about how this tiny town of approx. 150 inhabitants go about seducing a doctor from the city to come live there.

I don't know if Americans can find this movie but if you can it is well worth it. You will be as seduced by the story and the characters as I was.
